Position: Crane Operator
Location: Miami, Florida

Job Responsibilities

• Operates crane equipment safely to sort, spread and remove non-processible items
• Identifies explosive and/or volatile substances and other non-processible objects in the waste stream
• Communicates via radio with control room operator concerning material flow and crane problems
• Follows pit management protocol as part of the daily operation
• Performs operational preventive maintenance and general housekeeping daily; completes PM sheets and work orders as required
• Performs other duties as directed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One to two years related experience and/or training in similar situation
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
