Waste Transfer Station Management

Transfer Station Management

Veolia ES Waste-to-Energy incorporates transfer station management as a component of its waste-to-energy activities. By combining the loads of several individual waste collection trucks into a single shipment, communities reduce the total number of vehicular trips traveling to and from disposal sites.

Transfer station operation is currently conducted as a separate but distinct component of the waste-to-energy operation, utilizing transfer trailers from a central collection site to the waste-to-energy facility.

Transfer Station operation is also currently conducted as an integral component of the waste-to-energy process utilizing on-site transfer stations. This method allows for the consolidation and flow of the waste stream through a single location.

Veolia ES Waste-to-Energy, sensitive to the concerns of the surrounding community, minimizes to the extent possible, the impact of any operation through prudent management planning and equipment maintenance.
